DECALCIFICATION LENGTH

OsteoRAL R is recommended for large bone specimens, such as femoral head.

Decalcification through time for femoral head

Small bone specimens = around 2-4h
Large bone specimens = around 24-48h

Decalcification through time for osteo-medullary biopsies

Small bone specimens = around 5-8h
Large bone specimens = around 48-72h
